Dear Visitor,

STEPWith the Palomino Horse Breeders of America National Convention just a couple weeks away, there are some new and innovative approaches that we are excited to present to you! This quarterly update focuses on our upcoming goals and especially the newest attempt to STEP forward for the next generation of equine professionals.

STEP: Scholarship Training for Equine Professionals will be introduced at the PHBA Convention, and the intent is to develop a scholarship program for non-traditional students of all ages that support industry service professionals in these fields:
  • Farriers
  • Assistant Trainers
  • Backside Track Apprentices
  • Horse Farm Apprentice Managers
  • Rodeo Stock Contractor Assistants
  • Rodeo Management Interns
  • Grooms
  • Saddle Manufacturing
  • Retail Sales Agents
  • Others yet to be identified
This is an exciting opportunity to help us revitalize and emphasize the importance of these professionals that keep our Golden Palomino healthy and active! Learn more at the PHBA Convention March 8-12!

See you in March,
