FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation (PHBHF) is extremely happy to once again be a part of the prestigious Palomino Horse Breeders of America (PHBA) 2018 World Championship Show in Tunica, MS. New for 2018, PHBHF recognized youth and amateur novice champions and all reserve champions received special recognition from Cowboy Bronze. Thank you to the donors of the Foundation, PHBHF was able to host and provide World Championship and Reservice Championship awards in all six divisions of Ranch Riding, a special class that promotes the heritage of the Palomino horse and displays the natural movement and ranch qualities of the Golden Horse.

PHBHF President, Alda Buresh shared in the Foundation’s pride in awarding these champions and the donors who made this opportunity possible, “The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation is very appreciative of the generosity shown by Les & Ginny Baskerville, Dr. Floyd and Lynn Branson, Alda Buresh, Thomas and Mimsi Coon, Helen Fleming and Cedar Grove Ranch, and Bob and Carolyn Henderson with Henderson Insurance Inc. by their sponsorship of specially created trophies in behalf of the Heritage Foundation by Cowboy Bronze for the Ranch Riding Classes at the 2018 PHBA World Championship Horse Show. These trophies were given in addition to the regular World Show trophies. We congratulate the winners of each class as well as all those who participated in that division. These classes bring back fond memories from the palomino shows of yesteryear. “

PHBHF is humbled by the generous donors who came forward to provide the trophies and recognition to these accomplished equestrians and 2018 PHBA World Champions. Without the support of the donors, special recognition in the competition that promotes the heritage of the Palomino horse would not be possible. PHBHF graciously asks all members and Palomino supporters worldwide to consider supporting the Foundation to expand on these and other efforts, including an aggressive campaign to raise funds that allow more people to attend trade schools for the future of trainers, farriers, technicians and ranch managers.

The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation is dedicated to preserving the past, present, and future of the Palomino Horse and to those who have dedicated themselves to maintaining and perpetuating the breed. The foundation was created as a way for individuals to make contributions that are meaningful and make a positive impact on the Palomino Horse, their owners and to those who made significant sacrifices to preserve the Palomino legacy. All contributions are tax deductible through a 501(c)(3) entity.
