March 13, 2017, Tulsa, Okla. - The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation (PHBHF) is excited to announce the Palomino Horse Breeders of America (PHBA) 2017 Inductees to the PHBA Hall of Fame. During a special PHBHF reception March 11, 2017, and at the PHBA Annual Year End Awards Banquet that immediately followed, PHBA introduced the newest Hall of Fame Inductees, led by outgoing National President, Ann Jones of Flowery Branch, Georgia.

PHBHF shares in PHBA’s welcoming of the following Inductees:

  • Gelding: Baron Von Copper, 1969 Gelding, Owned by Lori Schleifer Bucholz
  • Gelding: Spanish Mat Oil, 1983 Gelding by Spanish Cop and out of Missie Paige, Owned by Tom & Gail Craun
  • Stallion: The Golden Deck, 1999 Stallion by Deck of Stars and out of Dels Lil Top Socks , Owned by Tom & Kris Schleichardt and shown by daughter and son-in-law, Scott and Shelley Rystrom
  • Exhibitor: Joan School, Lodi, Ohio
  • Service: Jeff Kirkbride, Ocala, Florida
  • Service: Tootsie North, Terry, Mississippi

PHBHF is humbled by the accomplishments and advancements of the contributions these horses and individuals have given to the Palomino horse, and graciously welcome them into the PHBA Hall of Fame to be remembered, recognized and memorialized forever.

The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation is dedicated to preserving the past, present and future of the Palomino Horse and to those who have dedicated themselves to maintaining and perpetuating the breed. The foundation was created as a way for individuals to make contributions that are meaningful and make a positive impact on the Palomino Horse, their owners and to those who made significant sacrifices to preserve the Palomino legacy. All contributions are tax deductible through a 501(c)(3) entity.
