Welcome!

Welcome to the Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation Museum! Come experience the rich history of the Palomino Horse, see first-hand how this horse revolutionized the silver screen with the addition of Mr. Ed and Trigger, and learn how a group of genetic focused cowboys transformed the Palomino color into one of the most versatile color breeds!

Did you know? Elvis Presley was a lover of horses, and maintained a stable in Graceland for his beloved animals. Not only did Elvis love horses, he loved the Palomino color the most. He loved the Palomino color so much, that one night he went from door to door of horse owners in the area asking if they had a Palomino for sale. You would think it is odd for someone to want to buy a horse at 3 a.m., but since it was Elvis, exceptions were made!

Not only has the Palomino Horse been a favorite for singers and movie stars, this beautiful animal, recognized beyond 17 different horse breed registries, is known for his ability to compete in many of the world's largest competition arenas in the world. From pattern events, to conformation judged classes, to working cattle in the arena and gracefully executing jumps taller than your average middle school student, we invite you to relive these wonderous feats in our Hall of Fame.

Come visit us and find yourself among heroes, beautiful horses and maybe even a little piece of your childhood - restored and on display for the world to see!
